Welcome to the official website of The Great American Brass Band Festival, a one-of-a-kind event committed to preserving brass band music through performance and education. The Festival seeks to showcase diversity in brass through a variety of genres, presentations and performances. In addition, the Festival is committed to bringing the best brass musicians in the world to its stage. Patrons enjoy performances, free of charge, in historic downtown Danville, Kentucky.

The festival works towards making an experience that is entertaining for all generations and musical experts. The festival also works to bring diversity to the musical selections and the events offered while staying true to the spirit of the festival. This event brings tens of thousands of people together to enjoy a beautiful weekend of music, family and fun.

Blue Grass Ultra-Transit Service (BUS)On Saturday, Shuttle Buses will run continuously from the Danville City Parking Garage (located on the corner of Walnut Street and Third Street) after the parade and continuing through approximately 11:30 p.m. Parking is FREE in the city garage on Saturday and Sunday.
On Sunday, Shuttle Buses will run continuously from the Danville City Parking Garage from 8 a.m. until approximately 11:30 a.m.
Stops:
 Danville Parking Garage (3RD and Walnut)
 Weisiger Park (4th and Main)
 “Main Stage Area” site (driveway between Yerkes house and Pearl Hall at Main Street)
 Maple and West Walnut
 Beatty Avenue (next to Centre parking lots)
 Norton Center (South 5th Street and West Walnut )
