Get ready for Mardi Gras on Main Street!
Set for 5:30-10 p.m. on Friday, June 7, and held on Main Street in Danville between the intersections of 3rd and 4th Streets, as well as Weisiger Park, Bayou & Brass will be a New Orleans-themed celebration and fundraiser for the Great American Brass Band Festival.

The entertainment schedule for the event is as follows:
Weisiger Park Performances
6:30 p.m. – Scott Kirby – Ragtime Pianist – Main Street
8:00 p.m. – Circle City Sidewalk Stompers – Main Street
8:30 p.m. – Stooges Brass Band – Gazebo Stage
We will also have street performances.
The menu for the event is unparalleled, with several local groups and restaurants setting up shop to serve some of the best New Orleans-style dishes.
There will also be an assortment of drink options, including soft drinks, water, beer, and hurricanes—the signature New Orleans drink! New this year, The Great American Brass Brew, a collaboration between our two local breweries, Lore and Beer Engine.
There will be activities for the whole family as Boyle County 4-H will sponsor many art stations. Boyle County Future Farmers of America will also provide face painting.
Admission to the event is free, but all food and drink will be purchased by attendees. All proceeds go to maintaining and improving the Great American Brass Band Festival, a Danville tradition for 24 years.
